Medical Professionals Retirement Institute (MPRI)

Thinking about retirement but not sure what you would do with your time?

The retirement years are the most spiritually fertile years of our lives, and the transition into retirement is as much, or more, about an emotional and spiritual journey than anything else. Retirement ads focus almost exclusively on the financial aspects of retirement. While important, for Christians that singular focus misses the value of our retirement years: it is during the second-half-of-life that we are called to grow spiritually in new and wonderful ways.

Are you a Medical Professional Contemplating retirement?

Forbes Well-Being Advisors is the first group to address the epidemic of clincian burnout by applying the principle of second-half-of-life faith formation as a means to reduce premature disengagement from medicine. Our second-half-of-life faith formation is geared towards mid-career and retiring faith-oriented health care professionals. Our services are offered through the lens of the healing ministry of Jesus, but individuals with various faith traditions—and individuals who don’t necessarily identify with any faith tradition—have found our educational seminars, retirement readiness tools and coaching services supportive and beneficial. In every instance, we will honor your faith tradition as we serve your needs.

Are you ready to explore your options with retirement but don’t know where to even start?

Your second-half-of-life can be as full and rich as your younger days, but many health care professionals find retirement challenging. Our primary research into medical practitioner well-being and burnout prevention alerted us to the need for this life-transition planning service.

Forbes Well-Being Advisors offer personal and private coaching sessions following our one-of-a-kind retirement workshops. Our Spiritual Retirement Coaches can help you navigate your options for a purpose-filled, joy-filled retirement.

Every medical practitioner is unique, and how you choose to transition into retirement is very personal. Some medical practitioners make several transitions before they fully disengage from their career; others desire some version of “a clean break”. Our retirement readiness data, planning services and coaching can help you make the best decision for you and your family.

Generally, our clients engage us 12+ months before changing roles or retiring, and then continue participating with their coach for 6 or more months following the transition. We offer coaching packages to meet your needs.

If you think retirement is in your future in the next 12-15 months, Forbes Well-Being Advisors have the tools and expertise to help you decide how and when to make your transition. We offer a free, confidential discovery call to help you consider your options.
